Relaxing Poolside

Today, Amanda and I enjoyed a day to just relax - poolside at the hotel. The free pass was to Orlando and reading my travel book as well as online we find that it is mainly rides - rides which neither Amanda or I do. Plus there was another threat of rain and thunderstorms. So we decided to relax and stay poolside. We both did get some sun - I am a tad crispy as they say - a nice base for our Calgary winters.

Amanda and I have been pretty steady go-go, plus for me driving through some wild downpours of rain, it was just right to relax for a day. I even read a whole book today too. We were able to take advantage of the lunch voucher - it was quite yummy - I had the chicken BBQ wrap and Amanda had the chicken cesar salad.

Reading some more this afternoon, we might be heading to Winter Park. It looks interesting, so we will see. To end our relaxing day - we will watch some TV - Smallville - CSI (dealing with Warrick's shooting - you will know what I am talking about if you watch this show) as well as a new series - 11th Hour. We are having a theme of tv watching today and yesterday - crime shows (the exception of course is Smallville).

Hard to believe that Amanda and I will be heading back to Calgary on Saturday. A coworker mentioned in her email that Calgary received some snowflakes!! And here I thought I could arrive home in t-shirt and shorts with sandals.
