Words of inspiration for survivors of cancer - Courage, Patience, Hope, Healing, Opthism, and Commitment

Knowing I can wear my emotions on my sleeve and having a personal connection with this disease - surprisingly it was at time moment that my eyes became wet (so were so many other around me too). The last group to walk into the closing ceremonies were all the breast cancer survivors - as they walked in, fellow walkers took off their shoe and held it in the air as a sign to shoe their support. Of course, my thoughts were to my mom and sister -hence why there were tears running down my face.
