Natural Civilization Museum

One of the birthday events was to go to the Natural Civilization Museum near the hotel we were at in Ottawa on Saturday. Here is a group photo of my family (dad's side of the family). It was great seeing everyone again. It has been awhile as I don't get to Montreal too often.

We are missing a few relatives from the photo though - my cousin Janet, John (Debbie's husband), my 2 aunts Carol and Susan and me (downside of being the photographer). We went to all 4 levels of the museum and the kids really enjoyed themselves - there was so much to see - that it was enjoyed by the adults as well.

My Uncle Bert listening to the narration for that display as his grandkids Hannah, Mikayla and Leighton look on.

Poor Rachel - early riser!! But she knew she needed a time out, so she cuddled up in her dad's jacket and settled into the stroller for a nap. She looks so cute and peaceful as she caught up in her sleep. She had fallen asleep on the first level of the museum and didn't wake up until we got to the 4th level where she saw birds!! She had slept through the second floor - at least she saw the 4th and 3rd floor before we headed to Aunt Mary's for time at the pool and dinner celebrations.
