Game of Life and Laughter!!
It was months in the making as we found a date that worked for all of us but tonight we made sure our calendars were free. Amy, Sara, Amanda and Erin all came over for Gals Overnighter!!! I tried a new dish - Sweet & Sour Chicken in the Slow Cooker (it was good but the chicken has to cook longer - only hiccup really). After dinner, we played "The Game of Life" - Amy had given me that game last year for my birthday - it was still in the wrapping, so it was quite fitting that it was on our Gals night that we played the game. It has been a coons age since I last played Life and they definitely have made some changes to it. Happy to say, I was the big winner (but not by much really). We had plenty of laughs throughout the game. Dinner and Life were downstairs as that is where my dining room table was. For our second game - Psychologizer we played upstairs in the livingroom where it was a tad warmer than the basement. Oh my gosh - I was having tears from laughing so much. The biggest laugh came from me actually as we prepared to head off to sleep - Amanda asked if I had any books? My response - to read? I said it so seriously - seconds later I realized what I said and burst into laughter - both Amanda and I laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes and I for one need felt I needed oxygen afterwards as I guess I was holding my breath as I laughed. It was a great night.
Thank you to my "sisters" - Amy, Amanda, Sara and Erin for a wonderful night of fellowship, sharing and loads of laughter. It was the best night!!! Looking forward to our family time in the mountains next weekend.

Thanks for all your encouragements and prayers. We are normally in the NICU in the afternoons and evenings. But when we get here in the morning, we'll definitely visit you.
God bless...
