Zoo Lights

On Friday night, I was able to take a bunch of us to the Zoo Lights courtesy of the Calgary Health Region. For me, it is so cool to finally be able to take advantage of the hospital's "Children Parties" even though I do not have children of my own. Of course, I am "auntie" to my friends children - so it was fun to invite them. Here are some zoo light photos that turned out.

This year there were 9 of us (5 kids and 4 adults!!). David, Erin, and their children - Emma, Josiah and Hudson who are visiting us from Siberia where their home is now (David and Erin are urban developers at the capital of Tuva - Kyzyl). Tagging along with us for the night festivities was David's brother inlaw John and 2 of his children - Sierra and Ethan. We all enjoyed mini pizzas, veggies, juice and cookies; plus a visit with Santa Claus. We wanted to include Grandpa Andy and Grandma Char, so we waited until we got home to open our presents.
