Ever heard of Dickson, Alberta?

When I moved to Alberta in 2005, I made myself a promise that I would "visit" my province this time. And over the last 3 years I think I have. I have gone to different towns that even long-time Alberta residents haven't gone to or heard of. I remember when I did some googling last year on Alberta Traveling - I came across a website on Gammel House Galley Pottery Studio. And I had put it under my Travel folder on My Favourites.

Friday night the weather forecasted changed and so before going to bed I told myself that the housecleaning can wait and "planned my route" (Young Driver days - LOL). The first stop I made was to the Pottery Studio. Dickson, Alberta is in Central Alberta west of Innisfail. I figured I should buy myself a keepsake of my journey - bought a serving plate perfect for cheese and crackers.
