As I have mentioned in a previous blog entry - I have been blessed having people in my life that have become my second family or an extension of my family. For those you who know me and my mom - our family has faced some quite difficult challenges over the years. When I moved back to Thunder Bay from Victoria in 1994, two couples have become quite special to me and their friendships mean so much. They have been there to give me the support, encouragement or that hug that makes you feel so good afterwards. Jan and Gary have basically known me all my life - what more I can I say - I love them very much. The other couple is Bev and Rick. I really got to know them through our symphony dates and birthday celebrations. Their thoughtfulness and receiving Bev's cards especially now that I live in Calgary, always brings a smile to me. I know it needs not to be said - want you to know Jan, Gary, Bev and Rick, thank you for your friendship to me and as a daughter, thank you for your love and support to my mom. You will never know how much that has meant to me.
