The Symphony Gang

For quite a number of years, I joined my mom and her friends to Saturday night POPS Classic with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. I was the youngest by a few years, but they always made me feel a part of the group. We would rotate going to people's homes for dessert and tea/coffee. For me, built some special friendships and with the wonders of the internet and phone, I get to maintain those friendships despite our distance. The photo above is my mom and her friend Bev. (Side note - make this a small world, Bev's next door neighbour was my first roommate in Calgary - Jessica).
