Is it Spring or is it still Winter?

These daffadolis in front of the Lake Louise Inn where we stayed the first two nights of our trip. I saw them and had thought of my friend Erin who had just added to her blog site a bunch of beautiful floral photos - I was inspired (thanks erin).

Along our walk around Lake Louise, I saw these pussywillows among the evergreen. It has been quite a long time since I had last seen pussywillows. Of course had to take a photo to capture it.

This photo was just taken 4 days ago (Friday May 25) on the day we were heading back to Calgary. This was taken at the top of the Observation Deck of the Banff Gondola on Sulphur Mountain. Seeing the freshly fallen snow overnight still hanging on the branches while the morning sun began to melt the snow, was beautiful. Hope I captured it okay - nothing like seeing it in person though.
