Sheep River near Okotoks, AB

Mom came to visit me at the end of August. She was coming from Kelowna where she celebrated her 40 nursing reunion from Montreal General Hospital! With a good part of her class living out west, they have the formal reunion in May in Montreal, Quebec and another out west. On one of her days here in Calgary, I took her out to lunch at the Okotos' Saskatoon Berry Farm. About 35 min drive down the Deerfoot Trail south from Calgary. The lunch was great and we walked around abit afterwards. Just past the farm is this view of Sheep River. If you remember the June flooding this year - this river was riding quite high. Okotoks was hit pretty good with all that rainfall causing flooding through the town.
