Future Vets

On the 4th floor (Birds Display) there was a little clinic where the kids can pretend they are vets taking care of the different birds and their eggs. Hannah and Mikayla loved it in there - they were making sure the birds had their water and receiving some TLC too.

On the 3rd floor it was a special display about Chimpanzes based the research and experience of Jane Goodall. When I took this photo I wasn't sure if it was going to work as the tent was quite dark (so you would be able to see the tv screen). I am so glad it did - a quiet moment between dad and son was captured. John and Leighton watching something about some to the things that Jane Goodall experienced in the Jungle with her Chimpanzes. It must be tough on Leighton at times to be surrounded by girls (sister Mikayla and his 2 cousins Hannah and Rachel). He is a tropper but enjoys his quiet time playing with his gameboy.
