My little Ethan
While Sara was in the grocery store, Ethan decided he would like to make a funny face. Earlier in the day, Sierra used a marker and made Ethan into a cat - whiskers, a neck collar and even little round patches on his belly. I had gone up to Three Hills to help babysit the children as the parents went to the My Fair Lady play that Amy and John were performing in (Saturday was the last night). So I took care of Casendra and Ethan for a little bit - while Casendra was content in her car seat, I pushed the swing that Amanda has connected to a huge tree in her backyard. It was a great time the three of us enjoying a sunny day.
This morning before I headed down to Calgary for church, Ethan and I had some one-on-one time - I had my tea while he ate his mini-wheats. We read the animal train book I had bought - he seemed to enjoy it.
This afternoon, we all gathered up in Three Hills to celebrated Sierra's 7th birthday (actually on May 28th). They had predicted rain all day, but it held off until we were driving back to Calgary. Here Ethan found himself a seat to enjoy his cake and two kinds of ice cream
