Some Summer Cleaning...

For those who don't know, my roommate Jessica will be moving out this summer. A friend from TB will be teaching out here in Calgary so they will be rooming together. It has been wonderful having the company this past year with Jessica. Plus it was nice having someone from your hometown too.

She has been busy packing up her belongings, so I was inspired this evening to do some cleaning myself. Jessica will be taking one of the dressers that I presently have in my room. So I was cleaning it out which then lead into my closet. Hidden treasures!! I have a few autograph books from the early 90s from my summers at Dorion Bible Camp. It added a smile to my face when I read their comments. I also came across things for some reasons I kept but felt it was okay now to discard them. I must admit that was a good feeling. My closet looks somewhat organized now too.

With Jessica moving out, my second bedroom will be free to maybe convert into a mini office or craft room. Or another roommate - who knows. I have some ideas for painting and maybe how I would like the room to look like. I guess that comes with a newer house - all these ideas for renovations to make it your own space.
