More Decorations...

The ornaments, garland and tree were in the basement, but I was able to bring up some Christmas decorations to go around the fireplace and the wall leading to the basement. I got that wreath quilt at one of McKellar General Hospital's Christmas Craft Sale in Thunder Bay. Funny, where I put the quilt was place similarly in my mom's house, just as you come down the stairs to the basement. We actually kept the quilt up year round. Haven't decided if I should carry on that tradition. It is so neat to actually have a mantle to place the stocking holder and stocking. The other decorations seem to fit well too. Did you notice my little guys up in the opening above the fireplace? I also put the Santas that my sister in law made sitting on the window sill and taped homemade snowflakes. We still have the snow from last week, so it helped to getting into the Christmas spirit.
