The countdown begins....

Has the little girls say here - just 11 more sleeps until I get possession of my house!!! It will be 9 months exactly from the time I purchased the house (Sept 15) until possession (June 15). I have been going after church the last couple of weeks to see the progress of the house on inside. Have been able to bring my friends too - so happy that I was able to show the house to my friend Heidi and her husband Peter as they were passing through last month. When I was there today - how little things excite me - I HAVE CABINETS!!! - touring the house, there were a couple of guys banging on the outside - there were putting up my siding. I am so happy with the two shades of blue. The rich dark blue will look great with the misty light blue I chose as the main colour. Having the cabinets and counter spaces in now, it gives you a better idea of how things will and won't fit in the rooms. Looking at the kitchen nook - I can see the dining room set fitting but maybe not the hutch. I have until June 21/22 when the movers are to come to figure out what furniture is going where. It is all very becoming real and exciting too. Went to the lawyer's office last week to sign the final paper - bit surreal, seems so real and final like you are signing your life away.
