Basically Moved into Chestermere

Well, I am basically all moved into Chestermere. Just some odds & ends still at the apartment. I will be doing the final clean this weekend as I will officially be out of my apartment on March 28th, when we do the final walk-through. This Thursday I will begin coding at Strathmore to assist with their backlog of chart. It will be a different change of pace for sure compared to the charts found at Foothills (trauma designated site)

It was a great, fun-filled weekend with the James family. We celebrated Andy James' 60th birthday all weekend long. Char had planned a special family (including friends who are like family) to an overnight at Kananaskis Delta Lodge. We didn't shock Andy all at once but thoughout the afternoon he gradually met people who have been a significant part in Andy's life. He met people pool side at the hot tub as well as the hallways of the hotel. People came from afar (England, US and Ontario) as well as close to home (Calgary, Leduc and Chestermere). Amy did a great job sharing through photos a mini-timeline of Andy's life as well as photos on the tables showing different stages of Andy's life too. It was beautifully done. On the Saturday, members of his congregation came to an open house held at Sara & John's place. It was so awesome to be a part of this weekend. Andy and his sister Erika (from England) are off for a short visit to Victoria today. I will follow up (hopefully today after work) to put on some of the 70 photos that I was able to take from this weekend. (don't worry I won't put ALL of them on the blog).

A little side note - Today (March 21) is my first anniversary working at the Foothills Hospital Site. Wow - a whole year as gone by already!!! Where has the time gone and boy so much has happened in those 365 days. It is amazing and it is neat to see it all come together too.
