Landscaping begins...

Weeds are gone!!! The guy who did my deck, had put that carpet and white washed rock underneath the deck. Unfortunately - that didn't stop the weeds. So Tylor removed the old stuff and using the same colour washed rock. The colour scheme is grey and charcoal. It should look good having the multiple tones. That same washed rock will line the sides of the house and garage where I am not putting in a walk way (flagstone pathway is what I will be using)

There will be a 17ft flower garden bed that will go from the end of the house to the deck stairs and the depth will be to the end of the stairs as I figured it would give the patio a symmetrical look to it (clean lines as my friend Amy would say). That is my bedroom window with my first attempt of curtains - it was a good first attempt but thank goodness my mom is coming to the rescue in October - sewing is her speciality and she has beautiful curtains in her room she made herself.

I am going with a cobble stone patio that will be wrapping itself around the deck stairs. There also will be a retaining wall that will be place towards the garage as my house is on the beginning of the slope on my street - so it was warranted.

Will need to picture it - on the right side of the garage door will be a 10ft flower garden bed.
