Uneventful weekend

Well, for those who know me, what I did this weekend is abnormal. Unfortunately on Wednesday as I began my preceptorship with 2 students in their 2nd year in the HIM Program from the college - I got that scratchy throat. By Saturday, I had all these plans of what I wanted to do - what I actually did was basically absolutely nothing - stayed in my pjs all day as I had a wonderful head cold. Today - I was feeling better (though the cold is now a chest cold), went to church and then to Char's place. The 2nd part of my birthday gift to Sara, John P and Jon J was a movie (we had the dinner part in February) - so we all agreed to go see the Terminator 2 movie. Action and intense basically through the whole movie. Poor John P - he hadn't seen the first 3 movies, so Sara had to translate a few times throughout the movie so he could connect the dots. Thank Char for taking care of all the kids for us (Sierra, Ethan, Casendra, Journey and Solomon).

Afterwards, we enjoyed the warm and sunny weather in the backyard. It was great to just relax and enjoy everyone's company. We know that the nicer weather is here - as Andy did some BBQ for us. Got a few more cuddles from Casendra.

Next Sunday we are going to celebrate Sierra's birthday - I can't believe she is turning 8 years old!! So I promise some photographs instead of wordy entries that I have done lately.
