Progressive dinner in Three Hills
Char, David, Andy, Mark, Peter, Jon and Erin (l-r) - all digging into the curry chicken and rice for supper
Andy with 3 of his 4 sons - Mark (oldest), Peter (youngest) and Jon (2nd youngest) - out of camera range is David who is the second oldest.
A couple of Sundays ago, I took part in a Progressive dinner with the James family. Mark and his daughter Mary were up visiting from Nebraska. Being we all have bought houses since last Mark was here - Char had this great idea of having a progressive dinner between the three houses in Three Hills. We started at Amanda's place (had just moved in the weekend before) where I played host in her place as she had to work - so along with Jon James we did the Appetizers; we proceeded 9 houses down to Amy's for Soup and Salad. While Char and Mary took the car to the Paterson's house, I joined the guys (Mark, Jon, Peter and Andy) for the short jaunt across the field for our main course that took place in the basement suite of the Paterson's house - Erin made one of her favourite dishes - curry chicken - it was yummy.
Before we moved upstairs for our last course - DESSERT!! We brought down the youngest addition to the James clan - our little Casendra. Above she is spending some time with her Grandpa Andy. I have to say I got in some cuddle time as I put Casendra to sleep.
