Florida Adventure!!!

The bags are packed, health insurance bought, maps of Ft Lauderdale and Orlando have been picked up and the boarding passes are printing off as I type this note - everything is crossed off my list of things to do. Okay - I think I am ready for my vacation - My Florida Adventure with my great friend (sister) Amanda.

May seems so far ago when Amanda came to me with this idea. A week in Florida - yes we do have to sit through a timeshare presentation - but knowing we will be sticking to our guns with a ready reply - NO THANK YOU NOT INTERESTED!!!, we couldn't think of a better way to see Florida. The trip is almost all exclusive as we don't have to worry about accommodations, car rental or our meals.

Neither Amanda or I have been to Florida - so we will be rookies exploring Disney - enjoying the beaches and other attractions like NASA station. We might try to connect with one of Amanda's uncles who lives in Florida near Ft Lauderdale. Having the advantage of unlimited KMs on our rental - we can get in the car and just go and explore the state. Both Amanda and I are early risers so you will know that we will try to make the best of each day we have in Ft Lauderdale and Orlando. Of course we will test out the beaches. Amanda will have to tell me how they compare to the beaches of Ocean City, New Jersey.

Thank you Amanda for this wonderful adventure - I am looking forward exploring Florida with you - it is going to be awesome to just relax this coming week after our busy lives back here in Alberta keeps us on our toes.
