Spruce Meadows

David, Erin and their boys - Hudson and Josiah heading towards the entrance of Spruce Meadows

The British House is guard for the Royal Guard - with all the people passing by the horses were like their owners - at attention.

We had a beautiful day to visit the Spruce Meadows grounds for the Nation's Cup - Master Horse Jumping (an annual event). The day we arrived we were recognizing Holland. The top 5 teams for the Team competition of Horse Jumping on Saturday all received flowers. If anyone has attended in May the Tulip Festival in Ottawa will understand this significance between Holland (The Netherlands) and Canada. It was the Canadian soliders that liberated Holland during the 2nd World War and to show their appreciation they send us tulips.
