Views from the front of the garage

The siding is on, the shingles are on, the eves are on too. This is getting exciting. Scott, my contractor laughs - how little things can bring such excitement for me. This is sort of like watching my house being built all over again - definitely smaller scale -but same excitement though.

Since I will be doing the insulation and drywall at another time - the garage is looking near to completion soon. You can see on the left side of the photo the cement grade into the garage is less compared to the right. That is as I am on a slight slant. Being I have a car low to the ground, I'll pretty much park the car on the left side of the garage and have storage on the right.

Wonder what I will do with that space between the garage and my neighbour Kate's fence - A small garden? Love to hear your thoughts on possible options.
