Laura and Casendra

On Saturday night, I came up to Three Hills to help Char with babysitting the grandkids as their parents were at the last performance of My Fair Lady that Amy and John were performing in. I was able to see Grandma Char at work - making sure Sierra, Ethan, Journey and Solomon all had their dinner and later chocolate ice cream for dessert; while I did my best to entertain Casendra. But she was fussy so Grandma Char and I switched - I went to the kids in the kitchen and she worked her charm to settle down Casendra. While I was rocking Casendra, Char was bathing Ethan and Sierra was helping by reading to Journey (by now Solomon's already in bed). Then as Char tucked Journey in I read to Ethan and push the swing Casendra was in. Once Ethan was in bed, all we had was Casendra who was finally going to sleep. With everyone under control, Char went off to bed - I continued to swing Casendra to make sure she stayed asleep and helped Sara but folding towels and laundry. With the house all quiet - I finally crashed on the couch until Sara and John arrived back. It has been special spending time with Casendra - loves giving smiles and giggles. She is adorable - okay I am biased - but she is such a cutie-pie. These photos above were taken today at the party.

Laura...wow...this blog is awesome, I've decided I'm sending people to yours that want to know how Sierra's birthday was. You captured it all! You could make a business out of this ya know :)

Anyhow, love you and thanks for coming and for babysitting. We'll add some moola onto the other moola we owe you for your time (and gas!! and don't argue!)

You are awesome.

Truly wonderful pics of you and Casendra :)

Hi Laura!
No worries about the blog invite. Thanks for thinking of me. Unfortunately, I can't make it as we have dinner plans to celebrate my birthday. Next time... party lite stuff is always so nice.
