A View from Above

In this photo above, you can see that the ice has started to form on the lakes.


Last weekend, I went back for another whirlwind long weekend trip to Thunder Bay. I was lucky to have a window seat on the way there. Somewhere flying over Northern Ontario I took these photos of the ground below. I must say I was surprised they turned out as well as they did. Thought it was a neat contrast of the land and lake formation as you look down thousands of feet in the air. I think the top photo of the ice design on the lake is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I was on the wrong side of the plane to get a photo of Mt. McKay - one of TBay's landmarks.
