Darn this cold!

Yes darn this cold - not outside though. I finally got my head/chest cold. The one I usually get with the "change of seasons", which I guess is pretty hard to tell sometimes in Calgary (temps are yo-yos thanks to our chinooks). I was looking forward seeing your new place yesterday Sara and seeing everyone else too, but just didn't feel up to it. I hope this cold goes away before I have to move at the end of the month. Wouldn't that be a joy - moving and being sick too! Yuck! I'll be loading up on meds and plenty of sleep and see if that will put a dent into. Okay - I will stop complaining now! Good news - I am currently being trained on obstetrical and newborn coding and I am doing well in it. My trainer is excited about it, just as I am. For years now I have always wanted to become an inpatient coder (would include obs/nb charts too), but was never given an opportunity at my last job. So it is exciting and confidence booster to be succeeding in both areas. One of my co-workers that I will be one of the few coders at my site that will know all 4 areas of coding. That's kind of cool. Well, I am going back to bed now. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
