Off to Three Hills
As per my first entry I had a sleepover last night at Sara's as she showed me how to start the blog site. Sara and I had our cribbage tournament (best out of 7) while watching Smallville, Survivor and CSI: Las Vegas. Happy to inform you - still the reigning champ! The morning started off cool and cloudy as I headed to Three Hills (about an hour northeast of Calgary) to visit my friend Amy. We had a wonderful visit and laughs too as we caught up with each other. Her 22 month old daughter Journey is such a cutie pie. The words she is saying are awesome. When she first said my name a while back, it came out as Lola but now sounds like Laura. Actually, Garron told me that the first word Journey said when she woke up from her nap this afternoon, was Laura. How cute it that!!! My drive home end with a blue sky and a warm sun. What a great way to spend a Saturday! Sara showed me on how to put photos on the blog last night - just haven't had time to organize them. I will try to put photos of my oversea trip this Spring and the various hikes this summer to catch up and share. BTW - the latest on the house situation - will probably break ground in January 2006 and move in around May 15th. Of course, that could always change with the shortage of tradespeople and supplies like cement (kinda important for the foundation of a home) At least with this blog I can share with you the different stages of it's build.
